A Special Volunteer
is Needed for Arts for All |
The DBA received
a unique request to partner with another non profit organization
in town called Arts for All to provide a musical experience for
kids with disabilities. |
| The DBA would provide 1
to 4 musicians on a monthly basis to go into the school and interact
with the kids, using instruments provided by Dave Pelletier and The
Hat Band. Details regarding dates and time are flexible,
and can be adjusted to meet the schedules of both the students and
musicians. The DBA is looking for a single person to head up and organize
this worthwhile venture. |
 |
It
would require a few hours a month, scheduling the time with the
director at the school and then hand picking 2-4 musicians to accompany
you to the school.
The
person organizing the activity need not be a musician, so this
is a golden opportunity for any grinner in the organization to
become involved. Musicians involved need only be patient and
willing to work with the kids, not necessarily professional status
on your instrument .Please
consider volunteering your time to become involved in our community
and to give back some of the joy that bluegrass has brought into
your life. |
